Hardening Technology
Annvix is not a typical Linux distribution in that it takes a very proactive approach to security. At the same time, it attempts to make things easy to understand and use. To this end, a number of things have changed in Annvix from standard Linux distributions; a number of packages that may be considered "the norm" are not available in Annvix and new technologies that are not widely used are implemented in the attempt to make Annvix as secure and robust as possible.
Kernel Enhancements
The Annvix kernel includes the following enhancements:
