Annvix-specific Tools

A number of tools were created or modified for use with Annvix. These tools are all released under the GPL license, so they may be freely used and modified, however packages are not made available beyond the rpm packages in Annvix and, of course, public Subversion access. To that end, some documentation for these tools and an introduction to the tools is available here.

• Afterboot - a dynamic manpage generation system that tailors a pertinent "system" manpage based on installed software
• Ports - an interface to building unsupported packages tailored to work with Annvix.
• rsec - a security reporting tool based on the Mandriva msec tool, but with the primary difference that it only reports, never changes
• srv - a management interface for handling runit-supervised services
• AIDE+gpg - wrapper scripts to provide GPG authenticity to AIDE databases
