Mac OS X Tips
From linsec.ca
Lately I've become quite fond of Apple's Mac OS X operating system, particularly because of it's BSD heritage. To be honest, I never would have looked at OS X to begin with if it hadn't been for that little command line tucked away behind it's glossy exterior. However, despite the fact that it's on BSD, there are quite a number of differences between it and other *NIX operating systems like FreeBSD or Linux. Having been a Linux user for many years, it's easy to overcome most of these problems, however a few little issues crop up occasionally that are good to document; others may find the information worthwhile.
