Linux.com reviews Annvix

This is quite exciting for me as no one (other than myself) has ever written anything about Annvix before. But today I saw that Linux.com had written a review of Annvix. The title was Annvix: A stable, secure, no-frills server distro and I don’t think the reviewer realized quite what he was getting himself into when he downloaded it, but the review was pretty good.

It’s exciting to see the first review of something you’ve spent four years working on, especially when you’re not the one to write it. =)

I have tried to install it under VirtualBox but, unfortunately it failed because VirtualBox host is to old. Is-it possible to installed under vmware or should I have to install under a real host?

Nope, you can run it under vmware. I use it under vmware and have no problems at all.

I am trying to install Annvix 3.0 in VMWare Fusion but am having trouble getting the network card to function. Any ideas on how to do this? I looked for info on which driver I could use but can’t find anything that will tell me which module to load. ludwig_von_rocht at yahoo dot com
