Planet update

Ok, I’ve just updated my Fedora Planet config so that only stuff in the Linux category (and sub-categories, like “Red Hat”) will show up on Planet. Sorry if you felt I was spamming Planet with non-Linuxy stuff, I wasn’t really thinking about breaking it down further to just having on-topic stuff show up there. Thanks Tim for bringing that up.

Not sure how long it takes Planet to update the feed address, but I’m hoping it won’t take too long.

Hey cool! Thanks a lot. Sorry for maybe sounding a bit rude. Information overload got the best of me I guess.

No worries. It *is* Planet Fedora after all. =) And mac stuff is definitely off-topic. I just didn’t realize wordpress had per-category RSS feeds… and now I do. =) So taking advantage of it.

Thanks again. It was something I’ve been meaning to do but have just been to lazy to actually do it.

I for one was enjoying reading about the evolution of your tattoo work, I find interesting to learn more about the *people* in the community, I think this help putting a human face, beyond the cold technology (yeah, I didn’t care about the Mac stuff, but I can scroll down beyond those parts).

Yeah, I like the “people” aspect of things as well. Hmmm.. maybe it’s time to make a “planet” category and include “life” type things as well as the Linux things and just make sure that none of the mac stuff shows up.

Censored Planet.. how open and cool is that? =)

So will you still have your non-Linux stuff on the original blog? I’ve been sending links to non-Linux folks, guess I’ll have to grab your RSS feed, it’s all useful to me.

Bill: yes, there is no change to content on the blog itself, just to what is syndicated to Planet.
